My goal was to foreground the contrasts between the transparency of the windows and the rough and the polished surface of the concrete.
The glass façade of the Kunsthaus Bregenz stands for openness, light and transparency. I want tod capture these elements in my collection by using transparent and semi-transparent materials. Translucent fabrics and polyacrylic foils allow the body to be seen while maintaining an air of mystery and restraint.
The transparency will reflect the lightness and playful nature of the art house. Simultaneously, the concrete walls embody a raw and powerful aesthetic.
The polished concrete gives Kunsthaus Bregenz a distinctive structure and texture.
To capture this contrast, I used mostly waxed cotton, which resembled the concrete impression.
